Mission Statement
The mission of Golden Key International Honor Society, a
nonprofit academic honors organization, is to recognize and encourage scholastic
achievement and excellence in all undergraduate fields of study, to unite with
faculty and administrators in developing and maintaining high standards of
education, to provide economic assistance to outstanding members by means of
both undergraduate and graduate scholarships, and to promote altruistic conduct
through voluntary service.
Our Mission
| At Texas A&M, our goal is to achieve the objectives of
the society in a fun and spirited way. We are actively involved in
campus and community events, encourage scholastic representation in the
university, and participate in many social events. We endorse community
and club involvement, scholastic excellence, and school spirit. Golden
Key at TAMU has meetings every two weeks (on Tuesday nights), socials,
and regular service projects and drives that benefit EVERYONE in the
Brazos Valley. Our goal is to win the Founder's Award, given annually
at the International Convention to the best Golden Key chapter. Please
email an officer for more information on how
you can become active in our society, or if
you're a potential member.
