Each year at the Golden Key International Convention, Chapters of
Golden Key are awarded for their service. Approximately ten percent of
all chapters are awarded the prestigious Key Chapter award, with another
10-20 percent being awarded Honorable Mention Key Chapter. To win a Key
Chapter Award, a chapter must be dedicated to helping their community. A
big part to winning a Key Chapter award lies solely on the chapter's
members to implement fun, exciting, and rewarding service projects. The
ultimate Golden Key honor is the honor of the Founder's Award. Bestowed
upon only one chapter worldwide each year, this award is given to the
chapter who has held every standard of Golden Key to the highest
possible level, and gone above and beyond the call of duty. Surely, they
are the chapter from which everyone could learn a lot! The Texas A&M
Chapter of Golden Key International Honor Society was established on
April 29, 1991 and has been on the rise ever since. Who knows.....maybe
this year we'll get there!
